Calling all IC patients! Just because you have IC doesn’t mean you don’t have a voice. If anything, your voice desperately needs to be heard! We’re looking for motivated patients who want to help develop the 2013 IC Awareness Month campaign. We need activists, writers, graphics, PR, Mktg, political lobbying strategists, etc. etc. If you want to help the IC movement, this is your chance to really get involved for our annual September awareness campaign. Jill Osborne is the president and founder of the Interstitial Cystitis Network, a health education company dedicated to interstitial cystitis, bladder pain syndrome and other pelvic pain disorders. Representing the IC community, she has appeared radio and TV shows including the PBS “Healthy Body Healthy Mind” television series. She serves as editor of the IC Optimist quarterly magazine and has authored dozens of articles on IC. She spends the majority of her time developing new, internet based educational and support tools for IC patients, including the “Living with IC” video series currently on YouTube and the ICN Food List smartphone app!
