We want to thank Jacque Neal Dundas for being an IC activist on the ground who asked Sioux City Mayor John Fitch to issue a proclamation in honor of IC Awareness Month. He wrote:

NOW, THEREFORE, I, John Fitch, Mayor Pro-Tem of the City of Sioux City, Iowa, on behalf of the City Council proclaim September 2012 as “Interstitial Cystitis Awareness Month” in SiouX City, Iowa during which patients, support groups and organizations call for increases in public and private sector funding for medical research, targeted educational programs for health professionals, patients and the public and recognition of urological disorders as a significant public health issue.

Signed the 10th day of September 2012!!

We say HOORAY and THANK YOU to Mayor Fitch and Jacque for making this happen!
