The background of this picture looks like what my bladder feels like to me. It is actually a picture I took of the fireworks gone wrong.
As soon as I saw it, I thought of my bladder. The agonizing women is me clutched in pain on a bed of burning red coals (my coach).
It really is a picture I took at a museum in Boston at the Pompei Exhibit. Picture taken was allowed.
I have had ic for over 50 years, it started when I was 11. I feel very alone in my pain even though I have a wonderful husband and family.
But in reality I do my suffering alone and it is time that stops. We as a group need to stand up and be together. I have two support groups in Massachusetts and it is so wonderful when we are TOGETHER. I will do as much as I can during awareness month and every month after that.
